The Breaking Barriers Awards Gala is Disability Rights Maryland’s (DRM) signature celebration, shining a powerful spotlight on exceptional individuals who advance and protect the rights of Marylanders with disabilities. Funds raised at the Gala directly support DRM and expand our capacity to provide critical legal assistance to Marylanders with disabilities.

We are celebrating a monumental milestone at our organization – it has been 25 years since our doors opened, and we have served more than 31,000 immigrant survivors of gender-based violence. This will be a celebration of the service and impact that our supporters, partners, and communities have had on immigrant survivors seeking safety in the U.S. Event will be held in-person and via live-stream.
