NOTE: Before beginning an application, navigate to your Organization Profile and click on “Grants” to ensure no one else from your organization has already started one for FY20. Applications cannot be merged, and you may not submit more than one application per organization.

Extended Representation Project

In response to a changing delivery system and the increasing high proportion of litigants who are self-represented in Maryland courts, Maryland Legal Services Corporation is requesting proposals to provide extended representation for low-income people across the state. MLSC will consider requests for FY20 projects with approximately $1 million in total available funding. More information is available in the application. The extended representation applications must be submitted electronically to Deb Seltzer no later than March 15, 2019. Note: download the form to your computer before completing. Do not fill out the form in your web browser.

Current Grantees

Current grantees must also submit their FY19 Mid-Year Report via SmartSimple no later than March 15.

Current grantees who need to submit a budget variance request for their current MLSC grant may submit the request through SmartSimple or can use the following form. Requests should be submitted prior to June 30. Note: if you choose to use the PDF form, download the form to your computer before completing. Do not fill out the form in your web browser.

New Applicants

New applicants should contact MLSC BEFORE beginning an application. If the proposed program appears to fit grant guidelines, MLSC will request a formal application.
