Fiscal Year 2027 Grants

(July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027)

The MLSC FY27 Grant Information Webinar will take place on January 22, 2026.

Nonprofit organizations interested in continuing grant funding, and new applicants who submit an LOI and are invited to apply for funding, for civil legal services for low-income Marylanders for fiscal year 2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) must submit an application no later than Monday, March 16, 2026.

New Applicants

Nonprofit organizations interested in seeking initial grant funding from MLSC must submit a Letter of Interest, with addenda, by February 5, 2026. For details, click here.

General Grants Timeline

MLSC makes grants once per year on the following timeline:

  • January or February: Grant application informational meeting/webinar (see News for date announcement, typically in December)
  • March 15 (or next business day if March 15 falls on a weekend): Application deadline
  • May or June: Selection of grantees
  • Mid-July: First month grant disbursement of fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)
